Sealaska sets June for vote to end blood quantum requirement
Shareholders of Sealaska, the regional Alaska Native Corporation of Southeast Alaska, will vote in June on whether or not to get rid of a blood quantum requirement for descendant shareholders, a holdover from when Sealaska was formed under the Alaska Native Claims Settlement Act (ANCSA).
